Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Frizzbee is operated by Bozatta LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Bozatta LLC doing business as Frizzbee.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and optional name. We use this to create and manage your account.

Financial data you provide: This includes BNPL plan details (provider, merchant, amounts, due dates), payment history, income (if entered), and late fee records. This data is entered manually by you or extracted from email text you paste into the Scan Email feature.

Scan Email content: When you use the Scan Email feature, you paste the text of a BNPL email into Frizzbee. This text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing to extract plan details. The email text may contain personal information beyond BNPL data. We do not store the raw email text after processing is complete.

Household member data: Pro subscribers may add household member names and optional monthly income to track BNPL plans for family members. This is personally identifiable information about third parties that you choose to provide.

Phone number: If you opt in to SMS alerts, we collect your phone number. This is used solely to send you payment reminders and overdue alerts via text message.

Payment information: If you subscribe to Pro on the web, payment is processed by Stripe. On iOS, payment is processed through the Apple App Store via RevenueCat. On Android, payment is processed through Google Play via RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card number or payment details. Each payment processor handles payment data per their own privacy policy.

Usage data: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect basic analytics such as pages visited, features used, device type, and IP address. This helps us improve the Service. Google Analytics has its own privacy policy governing how data is handled.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the Service, send payment reminders and alerts you have opted into (via email and, if enabled, SMS text messages), send weekly digest emails if you have opted in, calculate your BNPL Health Score, generate analytics and reports, process subscription payments, and improve the Service.

4. What We Do NOT Do

We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties. We do not share your data with BNPL providers. We do not use your data for advertising targeting. We do not access your bank accounts or make payments on your behalf. We do not report any data to credit bureaus.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies ensuring only you can access your own data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (plans, installments, payment history, late fees, household member data, and profile information) will be permanently deleted within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you for analytical purposes.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Supabase — Database and authentication
  • Stripe — Web payment processing
  • RevenueCat — Mobile subscription management (iOS and Android)
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — Mobile payment processing
  • Resend — Email delivery
  • Twilio — SMS text message delivery
  • Vercel — Web hosting
  • Anthropic — AI-powered assistant and email scanning
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — Usage analytics and site improvement

Each service has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Our Pro plan includes an AI assistant feature and Scan Email feature powered by Anthropic's API. When you use these features, your BNPL plan details (merchant names, amounts, due dates), monthly income, and/or pasted email text are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses or extract plan information. Data sent to Anthropic is processed per Anthropic's API terms and data handling policies. You can choose not to use these features at any time.

8. Communications (Email and SMS)

Email: We send transactional emails including payment reminders, overdue alerts, and account notifications. You can control reminder preferences in your Settings. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

Weekly digest: You may opt in during onboarding or in Settings to receive a weekly summary email with upcoming payments, overdue alerts, health score updates, and spending trends. You can opt out at any time in Settings.

SMS Text Messages: Frizzbee Pro subscribers may opt in to receive SMS text message alerts for upcoming payment reminders and overdue notifications. SMS alerts are entirely optional and require explicit opt-in through your account Settings page. To opt in, you must enable the SMS alerts toggle and provide your phone number. You may opt out at any time by disabling SMS alerts in your Settings. Message frequency varies based on your active BNPL plans and payment schedules. Message and data rates may apply. We use Twilio to deliver SMS messages. Your phone number is not shared with any other third parties or used for marketing purposes.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access all data we store about you, export your data at any time (via CSV export in Settings), correct any inaccurate information, delete your account and all associated data (via Settings > Danger Zone or by contacting us), and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@frizzbee.co.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to know: You can request a summary of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to opt out of sale: We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to do so.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
  • Right to correct: You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@frizzbee.co. We will respond within 45 days as required by law. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the Service.

11. International Users

Frizzbee is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using Frizzbee, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

12. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that materially compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach via the email address associated with your account.

13. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage data. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

14. Children

Frizzbee is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
